Is the new v6 tool less hotend a direct drop in or will I need to make adjustments on the firmware

Do you mean the Revo? It's a drop in replacement.

Yea that one also will it play nice with the mmu

Well, since no one has their hands on them yet, who knows but I don't see why it would be an issue. 

I've pre-ordered one. I'm very happy with my Dragon hotends but the idea of skipping the hot tightening step is very appealing.
