mk3 won't start with Raspberry Pi installed

I'm having trouble getting Octoprint to work on my mk3.

I bought a Raspberry Pi Zero W and followed the instructions ( http://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/0.+Preparing+necessary+components/585 ) to set up PrusaPrint and solder the headers. Everything seemed fine, but when I plug it into the EINSY board my mk3 won't start up.

The first time I powered it on with the Pi installed it never went beyond the startup screen, and every time after that I just get a blank screen at startup. I tried it with the RPI port enabled and disabled. The printer appears to start normally if I remove the Pi, but it always locks up with the Pi installed.

Would you mind posting a picture of the pi (either plugged in or by itself)?

Hopefully this topic isn't dead completely, due to I have the same problem.

I set up a Pi Zero W and also connected to it when it was not installed to my MK3s. When I connect it to the EINSY, the printer does not start. I activated the pi port before I plugged the pi in. Maybe some could help me? I attach some pictures of the pi and the lcd screen

I would connect the Pi Zero without Einsy to a 5V voltage (power supply or powerbank) and check if it boots without any problems and to be on the safe side, also check all soldered joints for short circuits with a magnifying glass.

In my case i solded the pins wrong to the RPI. You can see it on the pictures. I had two pins next to each other where only should be one. After fixing it I changed the Zero to a 3b+, because the zero is very slow.

@gmaayan

I would also be interested, but unfortunately there is no feedback on this yet.

If the Pi Zero is connected correctly, it can really only be the Pi itself or the installed image. Prusa offers a customized and optimized image for the Zero: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/prusaprint-rpi-zero-and-octoprint_2180/
