MK3 voltage limitations
Hi Friends,
I recently had to purchase a new power supply for my MK3, and upgraded to 350 watts in the process 😀 . Now I'm thinking about turning the PSU up to 28 volts for faster heating and better driver performance, but I've only found examples of people doing this with older models like the MK2S. Is it safe to increase the voltage above 24 volts with the MK3's Einsy board?
Thanks!

Einsy board and TMC drivers have voltage regulators for up to 45V, so it should be safe. You will not get any benefit out of this because of the voltage regulators but both components will get hotter.
The heater mosfets will most likely don't like it. I'm not sure which ones are being used in the current revision but you definitely shorten their lifetime for only couple seconds faster heat up. Up to you if it really worth it.
