I ordered a Beagle, crossing my fingers...  It arrived yesterday....  Easy to set up, good phone app.  Camera is good. The Beagle won't connect to Prusa i3 MK3s+. I contacted Mintion and got a fast reply (considering it was late Saturday night). 

"Our R&D team told me that the compatibility problem may be achieved in early July, because prusa will be delivered on June 25th, and we will test it immediately after getting it"

We just got the Prusa i3 MK3S+ printer, and we are working on it now. I think it will be compatible very soon. 😉

I also cannot connect to the Beagle camera and Prusa i3 MK3S+ printer.
Although I use the latest firmware V1.0.9 for the camera and firmware V3.11.0 for the printer.

I contacted support and got the following reply:
The Prusa i3 MK3S+ will only be compatible with camera firmware V1.1.0.Also, something needs to be soldered.
You will need a soldering iron and solder. Documentation for this is in the works.

i understood its straight forward...

will see...

Soldering is a basic skill for most makers.  Look on it as a chance to increase your maker skills.

With the new camera firmware 1.1.0 I still cannot connect to my Prusa i3 MK3S+ printer. I'll write to support again.

The phone app need and update to V1.2.0, but the google store is still on V1.1.7, so I have to wait some more..

Minition told me they plan on shipping an updated camera.  My dexterity is terrible, Parkinson's disease, I won't try this soldering upgrade...

I made the modifications to the Beagle camera (shorting bridge).
With the new FW v1.1.0 I was able to connect to my Prusa i3 MK3S+ printer.

I recognized the following:
- After rebooting the camera, the Prusa i3 MK3S+ printer is also reset.
- When inserting a printer pause M601, the printer crashes.
- When I press pause from the app, the Noozle always pauses over the object.

Is this behavior the same for you?

Got the solder bridging to recognize the printer, Got the same crashing issue where it cycled and then started sorting files. Tried to do a test print from the prusa sd card. the printer did it's normal warm up but the camera seemed to disconnect. Did not get a chance to dig further.

Would you please send us the gcode file to check? Please send it to [email protected], we will diagnose what's the reason cause. While we tried here, and all is ok to go.

I ordered a BeagleCam after seeing the port that Prusa would become compatible. I cannot do the soldering solution.

I'm going to do a little bit more printing with it first, Should the camera still work if I initiate the print from the prusa machine and not the camera. Because that it was I was trying to do when I got it set up. Haven't had time recently to run through prints to fully op check the camera. This is the first time I've used print monitoring hardware. Thank you for responding in the forums to help.

I've just received my BeagleCam.

I've upgraded the firmware to the last 1.1.1

It doesn't work with my Prusa I3 MK3S+

Any idea ?

It works fine with my Anet A8 and Alphawise U20 One !
