Layer Shift issue when using Octoprint (Octolapse) [I3 mk3]

Hello,

I appear to have a layer shift issue while running octoprint(octolapse) I'm not blaming the program i believe its my own fault with the placement of some wires on my Prusa

for timelapse, Octolapse position is set to Center Left for moving out of the way for pictures. and I believe it's wires I have not allowing the Extruder head to go Fully left sometimes.. it just feels "Squishy" when to the Extreme Left, not sure how to describe it. When moving the Extruder head assembly to the right right it's almost a nice Bump stop..

I thought maybe a belt issue(loose) but I've reprinted the object without octolapse and it looks great.

Things I'm going to try while waiting for peoples suggestions

1. Tighten the belt
2. Get the wires nicer where they are running (3rd attempt)
3. Octolapse Center Right for timelapse

The 3 things you listed seem like good practice of fixing the problem but if none of those work, in one of the settings in octolapse is asks if your printer uses a g90 command or g91, relative or absolute, the difference could be that when moving away for a picture the printer could be getting confused when it's asked to move out of the way and then go back, Try specifying a prepertory code before starting another print
