Help with Bear 2.1 Upgrade + Bondtech Mosquito
Hello all!
I recently upgraded my Mk3S+ to a Bear 2.1 and added a Bondtech extruder with a Magnum Mosquito hot end.
I have flashed the Bondtech firmware and completed the factory reset as reccomended.
When I turn the printer on, it reads as though both the heated bed and the heater block at 29 deg C and 277 deg C respectively when they are both cold. Am I missing something here? Is something wired incorrectly?
When I go to pre-heat just to see what is up, the bed heats up because it's target temp is higher than the 29 deg. The hot end on the other hand, doesn't do a dang thing.
I'm wondering if I'm missing something simple?
Thanks for any help in advance!

Update: Ignore the note about the bed temp.

nevermind, i just used the original thermistor to get around it.

How do you like that Bear upgrade?
RE: Help with Bear 2.1 Upgrade + Bondtech Mosquito
Well, I was having nothing but problems getting consistent prints out of the Prusa Mk3S+ with the default setup. I added the nyloc modification for leveling the bed which probably helped more than anything. I literally spent hundreds of hours and many many hours with tech support but was not able to get consistent successful printing.
It is stiffer and looks nicer. Whether or not it is worth it, I am not sure. I had the MMU2 but have also had nothing but problems with it. I actually removed it with the Bear 2.1 Upgrade. I also did the Bondtech extruder with the mosquito magnum. The second print, the mosquito jammed and I had to pull the hot end out, including the nozzle to push a piece of guitar string to clear the clog. I broke the ceramic piece off the hot end. So, it's not to say so far that I haven't also had issues with it but you were more asking about the Bear part.
Overall, I enjoyed the rebuild as it helped me better understand everything (like the first build). That being said, if I had removed the MMU2 and done the nyloc mod with the default setup, I probably would have solved my issues.
RE: Prusa MK3S bondtech upgrade
I bought the same Bondtech upgrade and Mosquito hot end. With that, I need to update the firmware on the Rambo board to change the thermister table for the updated thermister and heater. When I go into the Arduino software, the Rambo board profile is not available. Would anyone have a URL for me to download it?
