Hard mount and stiffening the frame
I recently bolted down my MK3 to a paver and it is very nice, with some snap in mounts i made.
I then removed the spool from the top of the machine down to the table, but I noticed the left side of the Z frame is able to flex a bit.
The right side of the Z frame is nice and stiff from the PSU bracing it. The left side does not have anything similar bracing it to the extruded frame and I can wobble it from the top with little effort.
Has anyone created a bolt on brace that can be added to the left side Z frame? (similar to the Prusa PSU brace)
There seems to be a bit of space and extra tapped holes on the Z frame to allow this if you were to move the Einsy case to the outside a bit.
If no one has any suggestions, I might give it a shot to see if I can create something that does not interfere with the Einsy enclosure or the wiring.
Thanks.
Here is a link to the hard mounts if anyone wants to try them.

Thanks for posting that, will give those mounts a try
Re: Hard mount and stiffening the frame
So I made up a new einsy cover that screws into both the Z frame and the rear extruded frame.
Its basically a drop in replacement for the existing cover and reuses the existing screws. I just added 2 more screws to the bottom to hold against the extrusion.
It helps a little, but I think it needs higher bracing to match the right side. Its just the bed can't print a longer one piece part. It might have to be a 2 piece part that locks together when being bolted.
I'll run some blocks to see if there is still any ghosting on the left side at speed.

That looks awesome. Any chance of posting the stl or cad file for the Einsy modified cover?
