Enclosure - finally putting it together
Well, I'm finally starting to build my enclosure. Inspired by this enclosure: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2396990
Still have a lot of work to do, but getting there. Decided to put my printer in it to see how it looks and give me inspiration... I already have some additional changes now.
- Still have to put the front door on... I'm going for double doors instead of a single door, so I have some additional cutting to do or that would be up already.
- Have to cut a few holes in the back panel for electrical and vent
- Have to cut an access door - probably double doors instead of a single large door.
- Have to put the filament shelf in - Changing how I'm going to do it... instead of a front to back shelf going for a partial shelf (back 1/3rd - that way it can be lower and have more room to move things around (thinking of the future and access for the MMU2)
- Need to design/print support fittings now because of the shelf change.
- Have to put the lights on the LED lights
- Decide where/how I'm going to mount the RPi (probably mount some DIN rail (either top or back)
- Decide on the vent system (recirc or exhaust or switchable)
Sorry, don't know why the photos are on their sides
