Compatibility with proforge dual switching extruder

Hi everyone!

I'm about to purchase a prusa mk3 printer very soon.

And I'm very interested in being able to use it with this very promising dual switching extruding system from proforge (Kickstarter page), which has the following compatibility guide (pdf):

It would be fantastic if someone with mk3 could verify the indicated requirements, specially the measures, in order to be able to confirm or deny the suitability of this mod with this printer. Thank you very much!

Hi joseluis

The mk3 uses a n einsy Rambo board which only has one extruder motor. You would have to sort that out. One way or another.

Hi joan.t

That is an important detail to know. Thank you

So I've read some interesting things in that regard. It may require more experimental tinkering that I'm comfortable with at this moment so I think I'm not gonna get the dual extruder system until prusa releases a new microcontroller better suited for this.

thanks again
