RE: 5D mod coming?
It is a good demo, but quite hard in practice. We have a dead nuts serious 5 axis water jet cutter at work. 90,000 psi, water comes out at Mach 4. 1# of abrasives a minute. Water hitting steel at Mach 4 creates sparks!
Very rare to go 5 axis. Setup (slicing) is a lot harder. Rarely have a need.

Well, before I retired I had a CNC based parts production shop and I can definitely see 5 axis printing potential! All depends on what sort of parts you are printing. Maybe not so much in display parts but in functional prints for sure.

Yup, some things are only possible with 5D. At least in the subtractive world.
