Display went bonkers.

I was trying to unplug a nozzle and got it removed and cleaned. Now when I turn my Prusa i3 MK2S back on, well the video shows it best. This is from power on till the screen settles. (the file is an mp4)

I purchased this machine assembled and it worked well, but I am obviously doing something wrong.
Because of where my machine is located, I am printing from SD cards rather than USB attached.

Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Display went bonkers.

its possible when you where removing the nozzle that one of the wires on the hotend got messed up, check them to make sure the hotend wires are good and pulled loose or anything.

also check the cables on the back of the screen and on the Rambo board to make sure everything is plugged in good.

if that doesn't work contact Prusa and show them the video they should be able to help more.

your hotend thermistor is disconnected from the rambo board.
its most likely that you've ripped off one of the tiny wires of the thermistor directly at the hotend.... or even managed to "crack" the thermistor. so you'll probably need a new pre-wired thermistor and need to replace the defective one with the new one.

ps. I guess that you hear some noise from the little buzzer at the lcd2004 module as well, when the display garbles and the firmware is detecting the temp error.

furthermore: when you "unplugged" the nozzle, I'll hope that you've reassembled it correct.... otherwise you'll get some leakage and (of course) poor print quality.
have a look at Thomas Sanladerers video about choosing the proper nozzle, where he explains how to put everything together at about 05:00min.

dem inscheniör is' nix zu schwör...
