bug in statistics ?

Yesterday I found some strange things :

I printed a lot of things (for example the treefrog) with 0.05mm layer high and checked the statistics for filament usage. At the start of the printing the value is higher than at the end of the printing. The countert is running backwards 😮

And sometime, if I check it at the printing, the value is completely beside it. Treefrog uses only 32cm of filament ?

A new feature for saving filament ? :ugeek:

Re: bug in statistics ?

IS that supposed to be extruded length of filament, or 1.75mm filament entering the extruder?

35cm sounds like it would be in the right order of magnitude for the small tree frog model, but I have not measured it.

There have been previous reports about the statistics being wrong, but I do not recall any detailed observations about how the erroneous results develop. And, IIRC, usually the 'filament used' amount is grossly over-reported.

Hmmm, this is what the statistic just before the ending of the print says.

slicer says :
; filament used = 2740.9mm (6.6cm3)

I also noticed, if the menu is wisible, the counter running bavckwards if a lot of z-hops are in. Thats OK fot the fitst, but it can be less bevor z-hopping ! 😯
