zbelt installation

so i bought the pre-installed kit printer and it was working great until my extruder got clogged, then snapped off the head of my extruder, then stripped all the hex bolts trying to loosen it up and broke pretty much all the extruder parts. So i ordered a new extruder kit and pretty much figured out with digrams and videos how to install everything back to working together and turned it all on and it works. My only problem is the video they have the belt with the grip on it where you put the extruder on , i can't figure out how to secure it well and get it to run smoothly. The video I saw didn't make sense because they way he ziptied it, I can't see how it would work going left to right because it would get caught on the ziptie and not go smoothly. This is probably something really simple that i'm over complicating, but can someone send me a video or explain how the put the two end together on the ribbed belt that your extruder goes on where it can actually move back and forth please.

thanks,
Scott

Re: zbelt installation

Hi Scott

It's all here: http://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/4.+Z+axis/89 steps 24 to 27.

The actual extruder assembly is here: http://wiki.e3d-online.com/wiki/E3D-Lite6_Assembly
