Z Axis Issue (maybe)...any ideas
Hi,
So I have my Mk2 calibrated to the point where it claims the bed is slightly skewed and it can compensate. I've done a few prints, the batman logo and Marvin came out looking pretty good.
Then I tried the Tree Frog, twice. On both attempts after printing for maybe 5 minutes or so the main body of the frog got jammed and the print head started moving it around.
So then I tried the Vase, and it came out like this:
It printed pretty much perfectly for a couple of hours, and then it started going all haywire. it seems to me like the printer suddenly decides it doesn't want to move the Z-axis any more and it keeps just laying filament.
I've also noticed that in both cases of the frog and the vase, when I stop the print and try to Move the Z axis up a bit so I can clear out filament and such, the Move Z option is missing from the Settngs->Move menu. I can move Y, X and Extruder but no option to Move Z. If I turn the printer off and on again, the option to Move Z comes back.
Anyone see something like this?
