XYZ Calibration Failed
Hi all,
I'm working on putting together my Prusa i3 mk2 and I finished assembling it all together, ran the self test, passed, and ran the Z Calibration and meshbed leveling to ensure my PINDA probe was proper aligned. Those both worked out well, and my PINDA probe seems to be within the points, but when I run the XYZ Calibration I get the notice "XYZ Calibration Failed. Please consult the manual."
What would be causing this? To my eyes everything looks square and its passing the 9 point calibration so I don't understand why it's finding the 4 diamond points to be so incredibly off.
Thanks!
Re: XYZ Calibration Failed
Check the Y bed diagonals. Are they equal. Measure them with a tape measure. Check that you have topped out the Z axis and they both hit the ends stops when first calibrating. They will grind but do not worry.

Re: XYZ Calibration Failed
Here is a list of the dimensions. I recommend using an 8 inch (200mm) or longer calipers to verify these measurements. The 185.00mm front measurements assume a consistent z-frame thickness on both the left and the right of the y-axis. If you have applied the felt feet to your Y-corners, you will want to prop up the Z-frame corners (left and right) up 2mm and you want it to be parallel to the bed. I have made some Z-frame corner feet to help with this.
and an 8 inch (200mm) or greater caliper is recommended.
Re: XYZ Calibration Failed
The ultimake check for the Y bed is equal measured diagonals. If they are equal you have an aligned Y bed. But follow the above post by ayourk's measurements for a start.

The schematic is exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you so much!
