Wiring and Cable Management Tips?
I've been running my MK2S for a couple of weeks now and everything is pretty great. However, when I did the final wiring into the RAMBO I couldn't help but feel like the wires were a bit messy. I've built other printers and from my experience it seems like getting good wiring management takes a few tries before you see the best solutions. My cover is shut securely, but it's definitely pushing against a bunch of the wires inside. Also, the nylon filament cable guide from the extruder doesn't stay put in its socket very well (the wires are OK, but they sag much more without it).
Would anyone be so kind as to post pictures of their cable management, especially around the RAMBO enclosure? Thanks!
Re: Wiring and Cable Management Tips?
My MK2 initially came with the cover where both heatbed and x-carriage cable came out the back, they constantly got tangled and the nylon came loose. I've upgraded it to the MK2S cover where the X-carriage cables come out the top. Because I also have a 2.85mm printer I took a much longer piece of filament and ziptied it fixed on the printhead end.
For the rambo end I just made it too long by the length of the enclosure. It now sits so far down that it's pretty impossible to come out every time the cable hooks behind something.

Re: Wiring and Cable Management Tips?
I made loose knots in some cables that were much too long. I used the LCD cables to hold back one of those loosely knotted cables.
I don't know why they added this daughter board. It's only adding bulk to the side where there already are a ton of cables.
I did not manage to fit everything in the box.
