Tissue Warning

I just spent a frustrating couple of hours wondering why PLA wouldn't stick to the bed which i had cleaned with 99.9% IPA.

Then I realised that I had picked up a packet of tissues which had 'balsam' on them, which it turns out behaves much like Teflon spray when suspended in 99.9% IPA. 😳

Re: Tissue Warning

Even untreated/scented tissue paper disintegrates too easily and many times it leaves fibers behind. Paper towels are the way to go. I use shop paper towels which are even stronger than kitchen ones.

Re: Tissue Warning

Blue paper towels from Costco (Or equivalent) is what I use. They contain very little 'lint' particles and can be used over and over to clean with IPA.

I think you can also get them at Automotive Stores
