[SOLVED] Err: MAXTEMP
Hello,
My first ABS prints all fails after a couple of minutes with Err:MAXTEMP error ..
All defaults settings and fans are working
Temperature read seems ok, I see Nozzle temp arround 255
I tried to set Nozzle temp fix to 245, temperature reading is 245 but nothing change .. i get the error MAXTEMP ??
Any idea ?
Philippe
Re: Err: MAXTEMP
You are using the 3mm Slic3r for 1.75mm printer.
Re: Err: MAXTEMP
I uploaded latest firmware Marlin1-0-3_RamboMini1-3_EN
Now Prusa reboot after some minutes ...
Well .. bad day for a first use of Prusa ... I hope all these issues can be solved ...
Re: Err: MAXTEMP
Thank you .. I was using slice3r but change parameters for filament .. maybe not enough ..
I uploaded new firmware and do some more tests ..
By the way when I put firmware in a folder on D disk on windows, it fails
if I put it at root of C disk it is ok .. verry easy
Re: Err: MAXTEMP
If you have random appearance of MAXTEMPS, also check if you move the printhead alongside the X axis, if you don't see sudden changes of temperature.
If you see the firmware flashing manual, there is a mention that the hex file needs to be on the same drive 🙂 http://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/Upgrading+firmware/66
Re: Err: MAXTEMP
Yes I also noticed last time change of temperature just before it fails in error (passing from 245 to 280 suddenly then the error occurs)
Re: Err: MAXTEMP
That was the problem .. using Slice3r and setting 1.75 filament is not enough ..
Using Slice3r 1.75 works perfectly .. no more error. Thanks.
