Simple question on Y-axis assembly

Hi ! I just received my i3 MK2 kit and started to work on the assembly.
I went through the Y-axis assembly, nothing went wrong but now that it's done I have a question :

How easy should the table travel along the rods when moved manually ?

Mine isn't traveling really easy, Looks like I have to apply a little force to have it move.

Sorry if the question sounds silly,
I'm pretty new to the 3D-Print world and I REALLY fear missing the assembly, ^^

thanks guys, 🙂

Re: Simple question on Y-axis assembly

Measure across the corners of your Y frame assembly. Are they equal? I am talking about opposite corners. Misallignment may cause friction. The Prusa build instructions are the best I have seen. Follow them to the letter.

Is the belt in place? Is the pulley tightened to the motor shaft? If so, then yes, you have resistance of the motor against you when you move the bed manually. That is normal. Now if the belt is disconnected, it should move freely.

Thanks again !
