Separation of Layers - tried a bunch and lost

HI all.
Long time no see.
I was doing fine but now this is stumping me.
First off I tried calibration, doing the 100mm extrude calibration, X,Y & Z calibrations with a 20mm Cube. Varied the heat of the hot end (this filament I have been using on all my machines with great success and did work fine on the MK2 before now).
I did a test with both Prusa Slic3r MK2 and Simplify 3D. And I did also update the firmware to 3.1 also.
This is from Slic3r:

This is from S3D:

Things to check:
1) Tension setting on your extruder screws. Should be 14mm from the body with no filament in.
2) Filament is free the unspool into the extruder without resistance.
3) Clog in extruder - try some cold pulls.
4) Hob gear is not connected to the stepper motor correctly (set screw is loose)
5) Hob gear is warn and uneven (not catching on one side, but catching on the other side)
6) Bad temperature for this filament. Not flowing well.
