Question about prints being offset
Hi everyone. I recently bought a Prusa MK2S and I'm quite happy with it so far. The problem is that unless it's one of the GCODE files that came on the SD card, everything that I print is offset by about 3cm in the X and Y axis. At present I'm generating GCODE using Simplify3D and I'm a little new to this. If anyone could help me a little I'd really appreciate it. I'm attaching a pic of what is happening.
Re: Question about prints being offset
The print bed needs to be set to 250mm x 210mm in Simplify3D...or you can try the bundled Slic3r programme(s). The "Prusa Edition" is quite nice. Hope this helps.

Re: Question about prints being offset
Use Slic3r with the default profiles to print - it is a better slicer than S3D and is set up ready to work.
If you really want to use S3D, only do so after you have learned what you need to do to use it.

Re: Question about prints being offset
I feel a little silly here, but I didn't see any software with the MK2S. Is it on the SD card?

And don't feel "silly" - you are not the first and won't be the last...
