propper holes / circles
Hi,
I have problems creating propper holes / circles.
I have printed a test cube with 4 mm holes but the holes are all oval, equal on which side.
Does someone have an idea to solve that problem? Thanks for help
Re: propper holes / circles
looking at the prints you may want to check your belts or run the self test on the printer it will check slack in the belts as well,
the first picture of the hole on the side can get warped if no supports are there for it as for the second picture it shouldn't be that oval unless there is something wrong with the printer.
I print stuff for work all the time with holes and pins and they look round the size may change due to cooling but they should still be more round than that.
as I said I would check your belt tension as well as the belts themselves for in kind of damage first.
I had a similar problem before and run a self test to see if it passes the X,Y, axis part as well.
Re: propper holes / circles
Thank you for yor hint. Indeed it seemed to be the belt tension. After tensioning both belts again the result is nearly perfect. Thanks
