Print quality Question

Hello.

Is anyone able to tell me why I am getting areas on my print like this (see the picture - bottom left corner)?

The remainder of the print is fine; however, this occurs on many of the prints (not in the same area).

I am using Hatchbox PLA 1.75mm filament (210C/50C). I have checked the leveling and it is correct. I use a raft for all prints and the raft turns out fine.

Thanks!

Re: Print quality Question

Hi Jake.

Just had a look at the Hatchbox PLA spec (here http://hatchbox3d.com/ ) and the recommended heat range is 180°C~210°C). Maybe the filament is too fluid at 210°C. I would try lower temperature to check if it improve starting with 185°C.

Every filament can behave differently, even same brand with different colors, some try and miss are usual when using a new one.

I'm like Jon Snow, I know nothing.

Re: Print quality Question

Hello world )

Exited, my first prints with Prusa this week 😀

Marvin and Prusa logo were very accurate and nice. But vase from SD little bit strange on top. Some hairy style in the middle and empty spaces. But this is an issue just for top parts ( last 2-3 cm )

Some hair inside - no problem, easy to clean, but empty areas - strange.

What it could be? 🙂 Just to understand the reason.

Thank you.

P.S. PLA 210\50 Print from SD reinstalled file, speed default.

And question 😀
In Silent mode 100% and in normal mode 100% how much faster?
