Nozzle clog from hell (including broken temp. probe)
Hi there,
I just checked my printer this morning and was "kind" of unhappy when I found the following nozzle clog. Looks like the print material did not stuck to the print bed and the hot filament was starting to collect around the nozzle. The printer showed a temperature error befor shutting off (safety seemed to have kicked in to shut down during printing).

Problem now is how to remove the plastic casing without destroying too much of the printer. I cannot use the built in heater to soften the PLA because it looks like the temperature probe got somehow damages during this extensive flood of filament.

Did any else had the same issue? The search engine in the forum did not show any results 🙁

I suggest using a hot air gun to soften the plastic so you can safely remove it. I have borrowed a hot air gun from my wife in the past used for her craft hobby. I now use if necessary my hot end gun from my new solder rework station, its better as I can set the heat gun temperature.
