With regards to S3D. I have no idea about that slicer; it is produced by a company that has no links whatsoever with Prusa Research. Maybe you should direct your question to the producers of that software.

How do you turn off the fan because the firmware turns it on at >50

Apologies for the confusion; I was referring of course to the part fan (as I mentioned in my earlier post) and not the extruder fan which I should have picked up on in your reply.
