Re: MK2 Z-Motors on MK1

I have never attempted to generate a hex file. There is no need to do that.
For now, just run the Verify to ensure the code compiles, then when you are ready, plug the printer in and open the Arduino IDE. Ensure the correct COM port is selected (usually found automatically) and then compile and upload.

I just wanted to update you on my build. Everything is working perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much again for everything. This was an awesome learning experience.
Printed my JEEP calibration print in normal scale and it turned out spot on. Printing a 175% scaled version of it now to test the corner to corner printing and this is also perfect.
Thanks again
Re: MK2 Z-Motors on MK1
I did manage to damage the SMD LED on the heatbed but that's small compared to the issues I was facing.
If anyone knows the specs of the red LED used on the heatbed indicator, I would be interested in picking one up so I can replace it.

Thank you for letting us know!
The LED is resistored; if you need one, then almost anything you find will suffice. LEDs in this configuration are extremely forgiving, as long as they are wired the correct way around!
