Live Z adjustments won't hold
Maybe someone here can help? Work flow: run XYZ calib., skip live z adjustment, begin print job, quickly adjust live Z to about -.45, perfect. If i don't do XYZ calib before next job, Z is too high. Last night i ran back-to-back, but had to move z to -.86 and it wasn't perfect (should have been lower). If I try a 3rd, live z has to go over -1.
Prusa support has suggested rolling back firmware to 3.0.8, then flashing to current. Didn't help. Then they suggested that moving the PINDA to 120 or so between prints would help. They said some of the probes get "confused"if left too close to the bed between prints. I tried, bit no go.
I am really frustrated. I had this thing humming 24/7, then, suddenly, this issue.
Re: Live Z adjustments won't hold
I had this problem, it started suddenly after upgrade to firmware 3.0.9 but I'm not sure that was the cause.
Have a look at these threads, they might help:
