The command to stop heating the bed is
M140 S0

It gets issued pretty much the end of a print, last 10 commands or so depending on your end script. If you open the gcode file in a text editor, you can check if the command is actually present.

This is a user configurable part of your Slicer settings, so i guess it is possible you accidentally changed it.

If you are using Slic3r, the slicer that comes with the printer, there is an odd issue if you don't wait long enough when saving the gcode for it to finish writing. You might end up with only a partial file and stuff missing at the end. This is how folks end up with only half a print despite the printer thinking he's all done.

Try printing one of the pre-sliced files from the SD Card, like the Prusa Logo or that Batman thing. If the bed stops heating at the end of this print, it's slicer settings. If it doesn't stop heating with these presliced files either, then it is not a slicer problem

That has been fixed some time ago, so it shouldn't be an issue with 1.33.8.

I had the same problem. I admit it, I feel a bit stupid about it, I was not using the Slic3r Prusa profile. I downloaded Slic3r (the Prusa version), went through the configuration wizard without paying too much attention and expecting it to just work.

You need to copy the Slic3r settings from the GitHub project:
https://github.com/prusa3d/Slic3r-settings

You should not have to use the Slic3r configuration wizard.

Read the README.md file (it's displayed on the GitHub project page) to know how to install it. Use "Slic3r settings MK2". The 2 other ones (175 and 3mm) are for older versions of the printer. The MK2 settings is for the MK2 and MK2S, 1.75mm.

Hi,
I just finished building my first I3 kit and have starting testing the printing. I notice that after the print is finished the nozzle cooled down but the hotbed stays at 55° forever if I dont reset on the board. Should it not cool down automatically after successful printing?

Did I miss something in the settings?

Go to your pronto interface and go to the controls, tab set the heat bed to on cycle it and watch the lcd screen does it go on an then set it to off, if it responds then you know it's not your board or anything with the firmware, most likely the slicer settings something has changed, just remove the FFF profile and import a new one from the default prusa site.

This thing still haven't been fixed. PrusaSlicer is missing whole M140 S0 command in end gcode and I have tried it with two computers with fresh PrusaSlicer installation.
