Re: First Print STUCK to Heatbed Solutions?
This is the point when others have damaged the MK2 by:
-Scrapping the PEI and/or bed traces with a tool
-Putting a hole in the PEI
-Warping the zip ties holding the bearings
At this point, save the MK2 and reprint the Skull by:
Use a heat gun to melt the piece off the bed (could use hair dryer but it takes longer)
-Reprint but put down blue tape (3M only works for me) on the bed.
After the print is done you can use a tool with more force since the blue tape will protect the bed and print surface

what's a blue tape ? sorry if i sound dumb 1st 3d printer and all.
Re: First Print STUCK to Heatbed Solutions?
Blue tape which is also known as painter tape which can be picked up at a hardware / paint store.
I have tried 5 different brands and have only had good results with the blue painter's tape made by 3M. Get the wider if they have different sizes, it makes it takes less work to place it down on the print bed.

Put some alcohol around edge of the print - the alcohol will go between print and the bed separating them. If it doesn't work first time, try it multiple times - let it sit for 10-20 minutes between every try.
It is better not to remove the skirt, so the alcohol can stay between the skirt and the print.
I couldn't remove the print too once and found that suggestion on the web, and it worked perfectly! Now I do it every time I cannot remove prints 🙂
