Filament sensor 'false positive' on first layer
I run into problems with the filament sensor triggering during the first layer when the mesh bed leveling (Mk3) isn't quite perfect, causing back-pressure in areas that causes the extruder stepper to 'slick' causing the filament detector to think that the filament is jammed, forcing a filemant unload and reload that's pretty tedious. The solution is to tweak the G80 command in the start gcode, in my case:
G80 R+50; mesh bed level, right edge up 50 microns
Since this is fairly unique to the Mk3, I'm posting it here in case it's useful to anyone else. It's pretty simple, but it took me a while to come across it, so I'm sharing.
