Filament Motor Squeaky
I have a 2 day print going. I happened to get lucky and be near the printer when I noticed the filament wasn't wrapped right and got tangled. The motor pulled really hard and actually broke off the filament from the spool. Was able to do a filament change and saved the print. During the initial refill, the filament didn't guide right and go down into extruder. Was able to redo and resume print normally. Its been about 24 hours and print is still going but I notice the gold feeding teeth on motor are very squeaky on the filament.
Is this normal? Should I try to reset the guide or lessen tension on the bearing wheel on the other size of the filament feeder?
Re: Filament Motor Squeaky
I would be tempted to leave it as it's working.
