Fan failure during self-test?
I've had my printer I3 MK2 for about 4 months now, and it has been printing fine without too many issues.
Recently during the self test, which I sometimes perform after long prints, I've noticed the small fan on the left of the extruder assembly makes a rattling noise. I am on firmware 3.0.10. Does this mean the fan is about to fail? If so what is the recommended replacement.
During normal printing the fan is working OK with no rattles, only ever makes the noise during the self-test. I completed a 17 hour print without any issues with the fan. All other tests pass without any issues.

This is the fan: http://e3d-online.com/Electrical/Fans/30x30x10mm-12v-DC-Fan
Always good to have a spare and note that the fan from E3D comes with a decent length cable and connector.
It's probably worthwhile removing the fan and getting rid of any dust that has collected around the the fan and heat sink.
