Extruder Motor stops working after a few layers

Hello

The extruder stepper motor for some reason stops spinning after a few layers of the print, any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi, I will need more information.

What material are you printing?
Does it always happen after the same amount of time?
What are the temperatures on the lcd when it happens?
Was it like this all the time or did the printer started acting like this just recently?
Do you use our preconfigured Slic3r?

Hello

I found the problem, the cooling fan was cooling the nozzle to a point where the motor stopped extruding.

Thanks

This means, not enough power goes into the heater block.

Please check terminals for both heatbed and hotend and retighten the screws in the pluggable terminals.

Both the terminal blocks are as tight as they can be

Try and reduce the speed of your fan for now.

I had a similar issue and put some tape at the end of the fan duct to help direct more of the flow down and past the nozzle. I'm hoping to sometime soon make a new fan duct attachment.
