Err: MINTEMP
In the info screen the top left temperature is 14 degrees the temperature below 25 degrees.
Now my room temperature is 22.6.
The Err: MINTEMP is probably caused by an incorrect calibrated temperature sensor. It is 8 degree too low compared to real temperature.
Is there a way to calibrate this?
Re: Err: MINTEMP
That is certainly a live chat and email to technical.
I got a false reading of the nozzle temp when I had done the screw up on the heat block a little too tight. Read 700C odd so might just be worth having a look at the screw on the heat block that holds the thermister and maybe unscrewing it just a little. If no change then screw back as was. That said, thats if you have the thermister with the screw on it.
Re: Err: MINTEMP
That is what I love about this printer, failures that forces to think about how it is designed.
I found the cause! The temperature sensor connector on the extruder got disconnected when I wired all the cables. What I do not understand is why it gave a temperature of 14 degrees Celsius? Why was this not 0 degrees? Or 255 degrees?
Re: Err: MINTEMP
Beacuse of the characteristics of the sensor. It is thermistor with specific electric resistance curve based on temperature.
14°C is given by resistance equal to infinity.
I hope you understand my explanation, I'm far beyond my English skill explaining this.

Explains a lot of your comments then 🙄
Re: Err: MINTEMP
Ben, thanks for your constructive comment here. If I am wrong, how about writing better explanation instead of directing me to Czech section?
Re: Err: MINTEMP
Just trying to be like you man 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆
Re: Err: MINTEMP
I think that the actual simple explanation is that when the thermistor is not connected, the processor interpolates the open circuit reading as 14 degrees..
The thermistor is part of a small circuit with a 4.7KOhm pull up resistor when the thermistor is OC, the full 5V is applied to the processor input pin, which is then interpreted by the ADC as 14 degrees.
