Re: Cant calibrate I3 Prusa Plus
I've had my genuine Prusa I3 for just over two weeks. I have to say it is one of the best printers I have ever owned and built. Getting to know it takes a while but once there, fantastic 3D prints with many materials. I am a very happy genuine Prusa I3 owner, 😀

Re: Cant calibrate I3 Prusa Plus
Anti vibration feet are a misonomer. They provide direct contact to any bed they are placed on. The felt pads insulate/dampen this somewhat! My bed is perfectly level.

Re: Cant calibrate I3 Prusa Plus
There are a variety of anti-vibration feet available and all of them work to quieten the printer to some degree.
Unfortunately, unlike other 3D printers, this one is extremely noisy, hence the "High-Power" and "Quiet" settings.
For me, the AV feet from Josef work well enough. The noise levels are much less and I never use the "Quiet" mode.

Re: Cant calibrate I3 Prusa Plus
Hi!
I have seen that the glass plate may be formed as a horse saddle. Use a feeler gauge and a flashlight + a steel ruler(in the 12 - 15$ range, preferably of Japanese make, 300mm long). Place the ruler on the glass plate and use the flash light to see if light seep through to your side. Use the feeler gauge to measure at several points and take a note of each on a paper. Thus you will be able to get a grip on how warped the glass plate is.
My glass plate can be used - even if it is warped - by having the highest point in the middle and the corners below that point. But I can just use a square approx. 120 x 120 mm in the middle of the glass plate. I also have to calibrate the printer having that in mind... My glass plate has ~0.2 to ~0.4 mm differences between measurements of different points.
Regarding why the corners may jump up on the opposite side when turning the screws on one side - have a look on the picture below:
Hopes this will help some of you having problems with calibration...

Try turning your glass over; should be more level.
