calibration v2 issue

just finished building my printer. When the extruder is heated to the temperature set for the v2 calibration the extruder constantly puts out plastic and it curls over onto itself. Any advice to keep it from doing this?

Just for clarity, Have you?
Followed the flow chart for calibration on Page 11

Re: calibration v2 issue

if your extruder is constantly oozing out plastics when heated up, the whole hotend system is not tight !
maybe you've accidentially unscrewed the heatbreak or the nozzle (or both) during your assembly process.
the whole hotend needs to be assembled "watertight" at a high temperature (@ about 300°C).
have a look at Thomas Sanladerer video about choosing the proper nozzle, where he explains how to put everything together at about 05:00min.

furthermore: getting the first layer right with the v2_calibration.gcode is nearly impossible.
I've set up a more reliable way to do so. read at least the first 5 sites, until you've got the point how to find the optimum at your printer.

dem inscheniör is' nix zu schwör...

I'm pretty sure i accidentally moved the heatbreak during the build. what would be the easiest way to remedy this?
