Calibration issue

So I assembled my i3 Mk2S over the last few days and have finally fired it up today.

Self test - Fine

XYZ Calibration - The first of the four initial points runs fine the second however the nozzle just keeps slowly descending until I pull the plug as its pushing the paper back and forth with the nozzle and bending the print bed. The thing is I raise it and turn it on again and can trigger the sensor with a screwdriver or allen key in the same position.

I will re check wiring tomorrow as its getting late now but I am not sure what else I can do.

Can I get a new PIDNA if this one is broken?

Re: Calibration issue

Hi, i have exactly the same issue and no clue how to fix it. in addition to that my pinda is not exactly parallel to the heatbed and the mk2s pinda holder does not allow any adjustment in the xy plane ):

Re: Calibration issue

i just calibrated the probe with a credit card and adjusted the pinda in the xy plane by twisting the pinda cable.
i repeated the xyz calibration and ended up with a heavily scratched heat bed at calibration point two.

Re: Calibration issue

what I found helpful was adjusting the PINDA probe in that position. An also using one of the nuts it came with to make fine adjustment downward as it is so difficult to move by itself in any controllable manner.

SO yeah problem fixed! Woo.

Re: Calibration issue

I'm having the same problem. Did you get it to work with the 100 mm distance (placement of bed from vertical frame)? I've disconnected the power supply from the vertical frame and adjusted the bed to better center for the probe. My PINDA probe did not come with any nuts. I wonder what Prusa recommends.
