Re: Calibration gcode

Hi Marc from France 🙂 (Chouette, je ne suis plus seul ^^)

First thing you need to ensure is that the probe is inside the circle of the 9 calibration point during calibration process.

Most of the time, this can be achieved by fine tuning the frame position (double check the 100 mm in step 10 here: http://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/2.+Y-axis+assembly/104 ) and alignment (as described in the preflight video ehre: http://www.prusa3d.com/buildvideoMK2 at 7:38) .

Ensure also that the probe is not to high, the sticker on the PINDA probe pictures can mislead you to find the right position, the bottom of my pinda probe is more or less 1 mm above the bottom of my nozzle for example.

Try to check that first, and please share the result.

(and not that you will be hung for that, but there is a dedicated mk2 section on the forum 😉 )

I'm like Jon Snow, I know nothing.

Re: Calibration gcode

Marc

Stopping the printer during a print; that was a fault in previous versions of firmware; must have returned with the beta.

Josef will probably read your comment and get it fixed.

Re: Calibration gcode

Hello,

I made few print to try

It seems all ok. Quality is fantastic 🙂

But if i try to send another print, i lost calibration and for each print i must do a calibration. I think i do a error.

And my hotbed is not perfect :

Here thats ok :

But not here :
