Calibration and Nozzle height
Hello Everyone, I got my printer last week and I can say it is incredible, however I have been having issues . I decided to run the calibration XYZ the printer tells me that it is slightly skewed but good job. Was it supposed to say perpendicular if this was purchased from Prusa fully assembled? The other question I have after the calibration process the nozzle height setup, although I have seen videos and read the manual. I am a bit concerned about this piece, the reason why is whenever I print the PRUSA logo I don't get the shinny smooth back I used to get when I got the printer last week. Am I too close or too far (nozzle height?) also the prints now come very shinny. not sure how to describe this but before the prints used to have some amount of shine, but now it is probably 3X shinier . Again apologies if this topic has already been covered. Any feedback is greatly appreciated

well, i am not sure if Prusa builds them to "perfectly perpendicular" or not, but after the thing got shipped sometimes halfway across the globe it is not that surprising if its a bit out. I got mine out of whack simply by picking it up and moving it into the other room. If you're really bored one day: check all nuts and screws if they're still tight and in the process try to improve alignment.
Hard telling without seeing whats up with your nozzle height. Usually, if you're too close, you get ripples/waves and the top of the first layer feels rough too the touch. If you're too far up, you get individual strands and not a solid bottom. Maybe try printing the Prusa once more and snap a picture once it finished with the first layer... (you can cancel the print at that time if you want to save filament, we just need to see the first layer)
