Broke this wire. Is this the thermister?
I had a colossal failure where filament melted all over the hot end. In my attempts to remove it, this wire was broken. What part should I get to replace it?
After looking over this forum, it seems there are a lot better ways to get the Z distance correct. I think an incorrect Z value was possibly what caused this failure.

It's one of the two blue wires going into the hot nozzle area.

That is the thermistor. If in the US you can get them quickly from Filastruder.

Ah great! How do I remove it? Is it that hole next to the nozzle? It's all covered in dry PLA.
