Belt holder is missing a corner and can't engage Y endstop
My first and only 3d printer. Does it matter? Can I fix it later? Can I just 3d print a replacement later and try to avoid the edge of the printing bed?
For reference, this is what it looks like https://imgur.com/a/9tvXz It is only missing a few millimeters.
Edit: Contacted customer support and they're sending me a replacement part.
Re: Belt holder is missing a corner and can't engage Y endstop
you could print another one, but without the endstop working I dont know if it can print with out using it for calibrations.
you may have to email Prusa on this.
if you need one printed I am sure me or someone else on the Forum, can help 🙂
here is the link for the .STL files for the printer.

Dang. Do you know how easy it is to replace the Y belt holder when the printer is fully assembled? I may just buy some ABS filament on Amazon and jurry rig it until then as it is only missing a few millimeters. Here is what it looks like https://imgur.com/a/9tvXz literally JUST ENOUGH is missing for it to not press that Y axis end stop.
Re: Belt holder is missing a corner and can't engage Y endstop
did you make sure the Y-axis align is on correctly?
if it reversed it will still bolt on but the Y-belt holder will be backwards thus causing the axis to max out before it reaches the endstop.
