Bed leveling failed after three prints

I have been attempting to print several times. After three prints, I get this error:

"Bed leveling sensor failed. Sensor didn't trigger. Debris on nozzle? Waiting for reset."

There is nothing on the nozzle. I've tried updating the firmware and that does nothing. The only way to eliminate this is to completely recalibrate the Z axis. What should I do it?

Lower the probe just a very small amount.

The problem is that it will do a few good prints then suddenly do this. Wouldn't it always do this if it was a height issue?

Oh, and I did lower the sensor very, very slightly and I am getting the exact same issue.
