Using 3DLac Spray

Dear Prusa i3 users,

I switched from glue and ABS juice to 3DLac spray and have to say it is amazing (see for example https://www.3dware.ch/3DLac-Haftspray-De.htm ). This is not advertising and I have nothing in common with the manufacturer of that spray. This spray works great for PLA and ABS and is really easy to use. Just spray the glass plate from a distance of 30 cm once and you're done. It is a much cleaner solution than the glue and you can easily wash it off with warm water. In my opinion Prusa should switch to something like that.

Kind regards
b0rski

Re: Using 3DLac Spray

I agree. This is my method of choice now for ABS and PLA.

I will try 3dLac with Colorfabb nGen soon and let you know.

Colorfabb nGen prints well on a glue stick bed. The glue stick provided from E3D here in the UK. I will look into 3DLac. I have tried other so called 3D hairsprays. Some sold at the 3D Printing show at the NEC in Birmingham, England last year. With limited success.

Re: Using 3DLac Spray

I have been using 3Dlac on my Bigbox now for about 4 months, on a glass bed, with PLA, Colorfab XT and PETT, and it works great, just spay on, dries before bed reaches temp, washes off easily with water and cloth. best option i have found so far.

Will be trying it on my Prusa once i get it, i see no issues using it on PEI sheets.
