When will Slic3r be able to manually remove support where you dont want it?

Yep, same here, still very much waiting for this feature. Even more so because sometimes it makes odd choices.

I saw here two weeks ago nice post about Modifiers in Slic3r, It was presented on infill example, but might be applicable also for supports. I have not tested it yet, but I plan to...

Support change is only for object not modifier. You can't do that on part of an object. But 2 objects on a plate can have different support settings.

We are growing our Slic3r team, and support editing has a high priority, so there is a hope.
