Slic3r Settings for Included Objects

Hey Guys!

Just got my Mk2S a few weeks ago and have been playing around with settings and stuff for the most part and printing some of the included objects (and having people beg me to print them stuff like the Adalinda)

I'm getting around to playing with Slic3r and have made a couple of objects and had successful prints... My daughter liked the whistle that was on the SD card but wanted one with her initials so I imported the STL into solid works and removed the JP and added her initials and sliced it... I'm now at 91% and 48 minutes, where I know the gcode for the whistle included normally prints in 20 minutes or so.

Is there anywhere that has the Slic3r settings used to produce the gcode for the standard set of objects included with the mk2s? I think my first mistakes was accidentally picking the 0.15 instead of 0.20 layer height. But I wonder what other optimizations can be done for speed.

In all honesty I'm blown away by the print quality of this thing - as have my co-workers that have used way more expensive printers.

Cheers.

You can look at the g-code files for the included models with a text editor. The settings used to slice them are included as comments at the top or bottom of the g-code. Slic3r puts the settings at the end of the file, S3D puts them at the beginning.

Thanks Kevin!

I didn't even think to look at the gcode files! That will make figuring stuff out way easier.
