Slic3r - Print Settings Lost
I just updated Slic3r to version 1.3.7.1 from 1.3.5. The print settings I had previously saved no longer appear in the drop down list. Is there a way to recover these lost settings? Is there a way to save these print settings so they appear in a new version?
Thank you.
Re: Slic3r - Print Settings Lost
Depends if you chose to backup it during the update install process. The installer asks for it. If yes, it is stored in backup folder, just next to the actual settings folder. Copy the requiered files back. Its .ini files named by the profile name.

You should load the NEW setting (.ini file) that came with the new version, but using "Load Config Bundle..."

Thanks Aaron
Re: Slic3r - Print Settings Lost
Aaron, I do not see the ini file. I installed Prusa3d Slic3r MK2 from this website: http://www.prusa3d.com/drivers/
I searched the page for "ini" to be sure I didn't just overlook it, and nothing comes up. When I click on "Windows version", it downloads an executable called "prusa3d_win_1_9_0.exe". When I run this executable, it installs Prusa3d Slic3r MK2 and a few other programs. When I checked the install directory, I still cannot find the ini file.
Re: Slic3r - Print Settings Lost
I eventually found my lost .ini files at: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Prusa3D\Slic3r settings MK2\print

The ini files are in the folder that you downloaded from that page.
