Need advice for printing custom bushing
Hello, I have recently bought second hand MK2S with 550 meters of filament printed already but it is in very good condition and is calibrated. I have made a live adjust z and bed level correct after purchase. This is my first printer so I know a little or nothing about printing. I printed a custom bush that I need to use. It has some imperfections which I can't find how to resolve at this moment and need advice:
1) no flatness, at the beginning the model stuck to PEI very good but with time it started to unstick from one side (from extruder fan side). This is main problem.
2) there is quite big seam
3) some surface imperfections
Thanks for comments.
Re: Need advice for printing custom bushing
No reply? Well, you provide pretty little information on what you did. I am also a newbie with a MK2S (soon MK3), but none of my prints looked that miserable (except for the FAST one...). What I'd do...
- clean the bed with alcohol
- do proper live Z adjust (also manual bed leveling, but not relevant for this size)
- use dry Prusa PLA
- use slic3r PA with "normal" profile, set to PLA, print from SD card
and it would come out perfect. Maybe you write what you did.
Did you try printing the original gcode files from the SD card? Prusa logo for starters?
