M92 E, change every filament?
Hi guys,
I wanted to get your opinions on how you handle extrusion rate value in EPPROM when using Linear Advance? I calibrate per new roll, note the value and when swapping to roll, use Pronterface to correct value. Is this normal? As example, my stock value was 161.3 as shipped but my MatterHackers PLA is 166.9. I rarely have to to set extrusion multiplier in slicer to get accurate prints with Linear Advance now.
Your opinions?

Hmmm, interesting !
I dont know if it make sense. But I think, leave your M92 as stock PRUSA and only change the extrusion multiplier in your slicer is the best way. But I'm maybe wrong with this.
I test the EM with https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2372705
I don't change EM after each roll, I change it every vendor and filament type.

I'll do more investigating on how firmware calculates extrusion rate when in Linear Advance. As I'm jumping slicer, filaments and modding Gcode by hand, too many variables to say if LA cares whether M92 handles true extrusion parity or wrong Ennn with corrective multiplier does. Logic agrees with you.
