Looking for help to improve my prints

Hey all,

I have finally figured out my hotted/extruder issues, and I am now printing without any blockages (big thanks to Jeff and Peter for their help). So now I successfully printed, but if you look at the pictures attached, you can see in the red circled areas my issues.
In this picture you can see strange poc marks in the walls. They are not that deep, but I have no idea what causes them. They appear in similar prints.

Here you can see the same type of poc marks on the inside wall of the print. none of the marks go all the way through, just surface marks.

Here you can see the top face of the print has what looks like drag marks and is not completely smooth.

Here is a better image of the rough drag marks. Any idea what causes it, and how to fix it?

Here you can see the strange stippling/rough area on the underside face of the vertical vent area. Some of the area is smooth, but towards the top is roughens up. Again, no idea hoe it happens or why.

Any ideas how to fix these issues and get my print looking better. I am printing PLA with 215C first layer 205C rest, Bed temp 55C, 20% infil. Thanks in advance for the advice!

What slicer are you using?

What layer height?

Speed settings?

Have you calibrated the PID for the hottend? The extruder steps?

I am using Slic3r Prusa Edition (really don't know all the features yet). My layer height is 1.0mm with a 4mm nozzle. Speed? I am not sure what you mean with respect to speed. on the printer readout it is 100%. Do you mean in Slic3r itself?

Yes, I have calibrated e-steps. I initially using the default value of 161.3 was under extruding 100mm by about 7mm. I recalibrated entering the new E value and I appear to be only under extruding by about 1mm out of 100mm. From what I have read that is ok for calibrated e-steps.

I also did a calibration of the hot end (PID), but that was before I replaced the nozzle. Do I have to do it again with the new nozzle?

Regarding the rough surfaces shown on the last image, try turning off the Print Settings/Layers and perimeters/Ensure vertical shell thickness. I've seen similar effects when this is enabled.

Agreed. Also try enabling "avoid crossing parameters"
