Hole diameter size

Hello,
have a problem the inside model holes are not as designed, they get printed
smaller, how can this be adjusted in the slicer?
[do not tell me to drill the holes, or make design changes to the model = that's such a bad idea]
thanks for clues
m.

Re: Hole diameter size

Hi Miro,

do you print your perimeters first, or last?

printing them first helps maintain dimensional accuracy, at the expense of slope printing quality.

try checking the bottom box in Slic3r on the page shown above

Re: Hole diameter size

print settings>advanced> XY Size Compensation

might take some guess and check but in theory adjust it half the size change... so if the holes are .4mm too large put in -.2 if they holes are too small by .4 then put in .2

then print again and make further adjustments. I made a small sample print with 20mm square and circular holes and use it to adjust that way it prints fast for testing.
